Privacy Policy
Effective [DATE]. Published by [DEVELOPER NAME].
The short version
GAUNTLET does not collect any data about you. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
Your progress (machines, dossiers, Protocol Data, saved runs, daily scores and achievements) and your settings (sound, music, haptics) are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Game Center (Apple)
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game sends your Daily Gauntlet score to Game Center's daily leaderboard and your achievement progress to Game Center, so they can appear under your Game Center name. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Game Center details. You can play without Game Center, and you can sign out of it in your iPhone's Settings.
Purchases (Apple)
THE FULL GAUNTLET is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details. The game asks the App Store only whether the purchase belongs to your Apple Account.
Children
GAUNTLET does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
This website and the waitlist
The game collects nothing, but this website has two sign-up forms: the launch waitlist and the beta invite list. If you use one, we keep the email address you type, plus anything optional you add (a callsign, your iPhone model, and whether you want the beta invite or news of the series). We use it only to email you about The Gauntlet Protocol: the beta invite, the launch, and the series if you asked for it. We never sell it or share it, except with the service that stores the form for us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
